Famous Villains In History

When we talk about famous villains in this article, we are not talking about the fictitious villains who ruled "the silver screen" movies. We are referring to those dangerous people who really ruled the world with their gruesome acts and created a permanent infamous place for themselves in history.

• Adolf Hitler: One of the most dreaded personalities who became popular worldwide for his cruel acts against his enemies, particularly the Jews.
• Benito Mussolini: A man who dreamt of creating an imperial Italian empire but got so lost in his world of power which ultimately destroyed his life.
• Reginald Edward Harry Dyer: Popularly called "General Dyer", he is responsible for the infamous Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in the history of Indian Independence. He gave shooting orders during a gathering at Amritsar that resulted in killing more than 1000 innocent civilians.
• Genghiz Khan: He was the most feared personality during his rule. He was quite popular in Asia for his barbaric army which destroyed, burnt or killed anybody and anything that came their way. Rumors state that his army used to consume human flesh in order to keep themselves energetic and young. He also built one of the biggest empires in Asia when he was in power.
• Joseph Stalin: Known for his dictatorship in USSR, this infamous personality crushed people under his rule with his communism principles. He was so unpopular among his people that "Stalinism" became synonymous for cruel acts. He was responsible for the death of more than 20 million soldiers who were forcefully sent to labor camps.
